When the Safe Jack products for the Hi-Lift type jacks were first created, we did some research to find experts in off road operations to do some product testing with the idea that they would be able to tell us where we were missing the mark. I was very lucky to find Jonathan Hanson. Jonathan is a world traveler with expedition experience on land and sea and an accomplished writer with a dozen books to his credit on many outdoor subjects including 4WD techniques. He and his wife Roseann (she is a powerhouse in her own right) organize the Overland Expo in Flagstaff where up to 6000 serious adventurers come to learn 4WD and motorcycle techniques for off road travel. I was there this year and was very impressed with the subjects taught and the caliber of people involved.
